IEA's ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥; PIRLS International Study Center at Boston College released the results of ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ 2015 and ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ Advanced 2015 on November 29, 2016. The release marked 20 years of trends for ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥, which was first conducted in 1995. By reaching this milestone, ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ earns the distinction of establishing the longest trend line of any international education assessment. Approximately 600,000 students worldwide participated in ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ and ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ Advanced 2015, which provide country comparisons in mathematics and science achievement, and comprehensive data on the home and school contexts for teaching and learning those subjects.
